Projects

My Laurea Diploma (MA) on the sphoṭa section of Jayanta Bhaṭṭa's Nyāyamañjarī was submitted in 2002 at Rome University, "Sapienza" .

My Doctoral research on Rūpagosvāmin's Bhaktrasāmṛtasindhu was submitted in 2006 and defended in 2007 at the University of Studies of Turin, Italy.

Both projects, have developed further. The PhD project has evolved into a critical edition of the first chapter of the Bhaktirasāmṛtasindhu, which was largely done during my Gonda Fellowship in Leiden, the Netherlands. The final steps towards the publication of this edition, however, have been halted by other impending duties at the moment.

The project of the critical edition of the 6th āhnika of the Nyāyamañjarī was submitted for evaluation to the FWF in Vienna, Austria, and recently approved. My two-year research period at the Institut für Südasien, Tibet- und Buddhismuskunde of the University of Vienna is going to begin in July 2009.
